The Landscape Together project is promoting a series of lectures at the University of Coimbra (UC), running from 19 October to 1 February, bringing together researchers and representatives of local entities to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of low-density inland areas.
Organised by the University of Coimbra, the lecture series addresses key issues such as sustainability, spatial planning, land policies and community-oriented development strategies, with a special focus on the pilot territories of Proença-a-Nova, Oleiros, Sertã, Pedrógão Grande and Idanha-a-Nova, in central Portugal. Co-financed by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme, the initiative aims to stimulate critical debate and knowledge sharing on the future of rural areas and inland landscapes.
