Cortiçada Art Fest

CORTIÇADA ART FEST- LABORATORY FOR THE INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT OF ART IN THE LANDSCAPE, A NON-PROFIT PRIVATE LAW ASSOCIATION, abbreviated as ‘CORTIÇADA LAB’, is a non-profit private law association, with a view to maintaining a permanent structure that implements the management of the Project, to be called ‘ART IN THE LANDSCAPE’ - a public and community museum without walls, which exhibits the relationship between the values of places and contemporary art in the landscape, designed to achieve the following main objectives: Territorial Development; Promotion of Cultural Tourism; Scientific Research.
The Association aims to promote Portugal as an international destination for ART IN THE LANDSCAPE, generating new cultural tourism products, as well as developing scientific research and knowledge, generating new forestry and industrial products. It also has the mission of promoting economic development, rooted in regional resources in a sustainable manner, oriented towards international markets and structured around circularity models. Its actions promote a model of urban territorial transformation in a rural context, constituting a factor for repopulation in the medium and long term.
