The Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco (Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco IPCB) is a public institution of higher education that began its activity in 1980 and which constitutes a reliable reference in the high-level qualification of citizens, in the production and dissemination of knowledge, as well as the cultural, artistic, technological and scientific training of its students within a framework of international reference. It has a wide training offer in its six higher schools: Higher Agricultural School; Higher School of Applied Arts; Higher School of Education,Higher School Dr. Lopes Dias, Superior School of Management, and Superior School of Technology. It is an active institution, with people capable of promoting and strengthening internal and external synergies, local and regional, national and international, and committed to cooperating with local political power, social and cultural institutions, business organizations and educational institutions, promoting the growth scientific, technical, artistic, cultural and civic experience of young people and adults who seek the institution. This high-standard of communication and dissemination will be supported by design research by the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, the largest higher education institution in the pilot region. IPCB will play a crucial role gathering information and promoting communication actions rooted in the pilot territory. Landscape Together specifically crosses the knowledge of the Schools of Education, Design and Agriculture. The Education School department will publicize, participate, and support the training workshops coordinated by CLK. The Design School department will launch international art routes’ signage, Events and Competitions, contributing with a cultural survey through their expertise, trail design signage and cultural events logistics. Supporting contributing to guarantee the success of this integrated communication – incorporation heritage values in art creation and art routes signage – it is fundamental to look at Mag’s role as curator and the previous experience of the artwork creations of Water Lines (Magmacellar and Girl of the fears LINK) and signage of the “Girl of the Fears Trail” LINK
