Turismo Centro de Portugal

Turismo Centro de Portugal (TCP) is the organization responsible for promoting tourism in the Center of Portugal, inviting tourists to discover the largest and most diverse tourist region in the country. TCP's mission is to enhance and develop the tourist potential of the respective regional tourism area, to promote regional tourist destinations internally and in the broader internal market, as well as the integrated management of destinations within the framework of regional tourism development, in accordance with the guidelines of the tourism policy defined by the Government and the multiannual plans of the central administration and the municipalities that comprise it. Turismo Centro de Portugal is an association of municipalities in the central region of Portugal that promotes this touristic destination. In LT, TCP will deepen the communication of the project in articulation with the municipalities that are affiliated partners. Between 2015 and 2020 TCP was 10 times warded by their innovative work and the promotional videos and campaigns that had an enormous international recognition. In 2019 the video “Turismo Centro de Portugal - Are You Ready?” won 11 prizes in the international tourist films festivals. TCP believes that the diversification, sustainability and internationalization of artistic projects in its territory of action are the next generation of tourism products for the transformation of at-risk territories. The promotion of communication actions, promotional videos, press trips and press conferences is reinforced by a territorial cohesion strategy that starts from the coordination of communication actions of the municipalities in the pilot territory. Turismo Centro de Portugal will coordinate the communication actions and workshops will take place, dedicated to tourism promoters in the region, as a way of promoting the potential for sustainable tourism development in the field of Culture and Nature Activities.
