Município da Sertã

The City Council is the executive body of the municipality, responsible for the day-to-day management and planning of the direction of the municipality. It is a collegiate body, composed of a president and a variable number of councillors, who may or may not be assigned portfolios. The municipalities of Idanha-a-Nova (CMIN), Oleiros (CMO), Pedrogão Grande (CMPG), Proença-a-Nova (CMPN) and Sertã (CMS) are part of the partnership strategy so that the communication of activities is cohesive and consequently, reinforcing the cooperative character of the project in the territory and simultaneously promoting the participatory dimension of the citizens of each place involved in the actions. The municipalities will promote the active participation of the associations of residents of the intervened places, citizens, municipal technicians, regional cultural entities, decision makers politicians, schools, academic students and teachers, during the production process of the works and tasks development.
