As part of the activities of the Museu Experimenta Paisagem (MEP), Professor Adelino Gonçalves’ students in the Master’s in Architecture Project Workshop at the University of Coimbra took part in an immersive visit to Sobral Fernando, dedicated to discovering the territory, landscape, practices and methodologies of the Museum. The programme included a visit to the Menina dos Medos trail, Lapas and different areas of the village, promoting a sensitive reading guided by the Museum’s ‘Care, See, Act Together’ method.
The initiative also included a collaborative working session with local residents, led by architect Marta Aguiar and the MAG – Marques de Aguiar team, with the aim of co-creating development strategies for the village of Proença-a-Nova, reflecting on its challenges and potential, particularly in the context of depopulation and fires.
